BRING JOY TO THE KIDS AT SUNRISE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

This is a request for donations!

When you are a child and have a disease, a lifetime sickness or are terminally ill and basically are spending the majority of your life in the hospital, any kind
gesture brings joy. Here’s My Why:
At the age of 5, my son Da’Zay Joshua was rushed to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Sunrise Children’s Hospital, because his sugar levels was at 900. At that time, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. My son was weak, but he was awake and talking which baffled the doctors, because in most normal situations he should have been in a coma or dead, but God! We spent 2 agonizing months in the hospital PICU, after
which, my son was moved to the children’s ward for an additional month, this is where we saw and met many children suffering from similar or even worse conditions and diseases then my son’s. Some of these children didn’t have family visiting them, so my son and I did. As a mother of 8, my heart goes out to these kids at Sunrise Children’s Hospital PICU. So, I decided to do something about it. I went and spoke to the hospital administrator and asked if I could start a project where my 8 children and I would bring Easter baskets or gifts to the children in the hospital ward a few times per year, especially during holiday season’s.

My request was approved and we have brought gifts to the children once so far, I didn’t realize it would be so expensive to buy baskets and toys; each easter basket costs from $25.00 and up. Now… here is how you can HELP us!!!
I’m asking if you would please get involved by sending a donation, no matter what the amount, big or small every $$$$ counts.

Our goal is to deliver up to 250 Easter Baskets in April 2025 to:
