⭐ Our Story: The Ord Family Christmas Lightshow
Every year, our family transforms 144 Buss Road into a little corner of Christmas magic right here in Hopewell Township. What started as a small tradition for our own family has grown into something we never expected — a place where neighbors slow down, kids roll down their windows in excitement, and people gather to share a moment of joy during a busy season.
The Ord Family Christmas Lightshow is built with a lot of love, countless late nights, and more extension cords than we should admit. But most importantly, it’s built with purpose.
Our family has two amazing boys on the autism spectrum, and over time, we’ve learned how important safe, calming, and sensory-friendly spaces are for kids like ours — and for so many families in our community. Last year, thanks to the generosity of visitors, friends, and neighbors, we were able to donate to the Hopewell Area School District to help support their sensory rooms. Knowing that the lightshow could make a real difference for local students was one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives.
This year, our goal is simple:
✨ Bring joy to the community and continue supporting Hopewell Area School District’s sensory rooms. ✨
We don’t ask for anything from visitors — the lightshow will always be free, always open, and always meant to bring happiness to anyone who stops by. But for those who feel moved to give, your kindness helps us pass that joy forward into the schools and into the lives of kids who benefit from sensory support every single day.
Every dollar helps.
Every share helps.
And every car that stops to enjoy the lights helps us remember why we do this.
From our family to yours — thank you for supporting the show, for supporting our community, and for helping us “bring a little holiday magic” to the students of Hopewell.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,
The Ord Family
❤️✨
