My boyfriend, Kai had his 2022 Kawasaki ZX 6R motorcycle stolen a year ago on August 8, 2024 out of his tech school parking lot. On that same day my dad’s truck was stolen 20 minutes away earlier that morning. We figured this out when we first started dating that both vehicles went missing on the same day. Now we’ve been together a year and a couple of days ago my dad’s truck was recovered. It was found right outside of Denver, Colorado and was busted with 13 other vehicles as a part of a vehicle trafficking ring. It took a year for it to be found, but by now he already has a new truck. This gave me and my boyfriend some hope. We were hoping that his motorcycle turned up too. I went down to the constable’s office yesterday just to learn that it is still missing and hasn’t been recovered. My boyfriend is an incredibly hard worker. He works every day as a mechanic and doesn’t really put any of his money towards anything nice for him it all goes towards adult responsibilities. I always catch him looking for his bike on marketplace or reminiscing on his bike. I know he misses it and he LOVED his bike. While I am starting a new job soon I don’t have the kind of money to replace his bike. I would love to be able to get this back for him by finding one on marketplace and getting it outright for him. I know this would make him incredibly happy so I’m asking for some help from the community. He has no idea I’m doing this and I would love to be able to surprise him. We both got our hopes up these past couple of days, hoping that his bike was recovered but unfortunately, there was no good news waiting for us.
