This is our dog Joey. As a Chihuahua and Terrier mix, he’s full of energy and personality, traits that have undoubtedly brightened his days over the years. At 9 years old, he’s been a part of our family for a significant time, sharing both everyday routines and special occasions. His presence is carved in our hearts, making this challenge all the more hard. The discovery of his liver tumor is understandably distressing. Liver tumors in dogs can vary widely, and the need for surgery often depends on several factors, including the type and size of the tumor, as well as the overall health. We decided to go surgery route for him so he has more years with us, can live life longer and so he’s not in pain anymore. However, the financial burden of vet care is a lot as well. With surgery costs estimated at $10,000, plus an additional $5,000 for overnight stays and medication, it’s a significant expense. We are making this in hopes people can spare a few extra dollars to help us fund the cost of his medical bills. Anything and everything is so appreciated! And we thank you for what ever amount you donate!
