Bring Jj Back to His Loved Ones

Donation protected
My name is Kelsey Huffman. On 01/24/2025, my 31-year-old brother, Jj Denney, passed away unexpectedly at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, Maryland. I am his next of kin and am struggling to come up financially with the funds to get him cremated and sent back to me and his other siblings and give him a service in our hometown of Muncie, IN.

I have researched any other means, and the only thing left is to donate his body to the state and never receive his cremated remains. It may be selfish, but I want his remains back with his family and those that cared for him.

If you don’t feel comfortable donating on this platform, my Venmo is @kelso2010, and you can also reach out if there is another way you would like to help. Thank you.

Obituary for Jj Wayne Denney

Jj Wayne Denney, age 31, of Ridgeley, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 24, 2025. He was born on July 3, 1993, in Muncie, Indiana, and was known for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unshakable spirit.

Jj was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Richard Wayne Chandler, and his sister, Serenity Nevaeh Williamson. He is survived by the love of his life, Pepper Taylor, his grandparents Kathy Chandler and Mike & Peggy Denney, his parents Randy and Kellie Williamson, and his biological father, Shilo (Joe) Keihn. He also leaves behind his father Micheal Denney. He will be deeply missed by his sisters: Kelsey Huffman, Lindsay Denney (fiancé Donnie Perdue), Raelynn Williamson, and Mazzy Kelran Keihn; his brothers: Gavin Denney, Seth Williamson, and Kye Stempien; and his precious nieces and nephews: Soelii Perdue, Serenity Perdue, Maleya Perdue, Raiden Allison, Ryder Allison, Ridley Huffman, and Rextin Huffman. His very spoiled dog, Jameson, will miss him dearly as well. In addition to his immediate family, Jj leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by his warmth, kindness, and love for life.

Jj had an undeniable gift for connecting with others, and he never met a stranger. He could always be found goofing off and making people laugh, and his playful spirit brought joy to everyone around him. Jj had a deep love for the simple pleasures in life, such as fishing, mushroom hunting, and playing video games with his nephews and brothers. He cherished these moments, always finding a way to see the world with the wonder of a child.

A compassionate soul, Jj was quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, no matter how big or small the gesture. He loved deeply, with his whole soul, and his generosity and care for others will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Jj. You will forever be loved and missed.
Celebrations of life for both Muncie, IN and Cumberland, Maryland will be determined at a later time.
