On August 12, 2025 we received heartbreaking news that our dear friend and loved one, Jesse Dye has passed away. Jesse was more than a friend—he was a friend, a son, a brother, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
If you knew Jesse, you knew he had a way of making people laugh no matter the situation. He had a sharp wit, a quick smile, and a love for dressing sharp—always loved to look his best and loved being a sneakerhead. Jesse had the kind of heart that would give his last to a friend in need, without hesitation.
His passing has left an emptiness in our hearts that words can’t capture. Now, we face the difficult and urgent task of bringing him home from Clinton, Iowa, to our hometown of Sioux City, Iowa, so he can rest surrounded by family and friends.
Transporting Jesse and arranging his funeral will come with significant costs, and we humbly ask for your help during this incredibly difficult time. Your donation will go directly toward:
-Transporting Jesse from Clinton, IA to Sioux City, IA
-Funeral and memorial service expenses
Any amount—no matter how small—will help us give Jesse the farewell he deserves. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page so we can reach as many people as possible. We expect to arrange services for possibly a week from now.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support. Jesse touched so many lives, and it’s our hope to honor him in a way that reflects the love he gave so freely.
With love and gratitude,
Kodi, Dylan, Genesis, Teresa, Alberto, and his siblings Maria, D’Andre, Erika, and Erik and nephew Levi.
