BRING JEAN PAUL HOME

Donation protected
He’s our mate, he’s one of us, and he’s a really good bloke.

Unfortunately, he’s had a tough couple of years.

And now he needs all of our help!

If you are not already aware of JP’s recent history, his Mum unexpectedly passed away last year which was a real blow to him and the whole family.

After months of trying to pick up the pieces, JP decided to make a big change in his life (if you don’t change something then nothing will change, right?), and he moved overseas to Vietnam to start a business. A fresh start was just what he needed.

So off he went with all guns blazing, it took forever to get through the red tape of third world country like Vietnam, but after working extremely hard, investing every last dollar he had and with some help from a lovely local girl, he succeeded and opened his restaurant/bar on Phu Quoc Island. A little slice of heaven. Finally, things started looking up for JP, it seemed as though the tide had turned.

Opening just before Christmas 2018, after 6 months, he closed (temporarily) as planned during the wet season and started working on other projects to bring in an income.

One of these projects, in particular, led him to be in Ho Chi Minh City for a couple of weeks this month. On the day in question,  JP was on his scooter going to a meeting when disaster struck, he had a major accident, we still don’t know the details or what actually happened without any witnesses, we have no other information about the accident except the very sad outcome he now finds himself in.

JP has been in a Coma ever since with expected serious brain injuries.

His father Rino is with him, along with that lovely girl we talked about earlier, Angel. Thank God for Angel. Unfortunately, JP is currently in a Public Hospital in Hoi Chi Minh City, Vietnam. These hospitals do not provide the expertise, care or support that we are used to here in Australia. You are only allowed one visitor per day for a maximum of one hour - so his own father can’t even stay by his side during this difficult time. If you do get to see a doctor, well that’s great, if you don’t, then that’s bad luck. Even more bad luck if you don’t speak the language. Our mate deserves better!

We have to get JP home URGENTLY to a hospital where he can receive the proper care by the best doctors in the world - Australia.

This would give him a fighting chance to get through this terrible tragedy.  The problem is that he is not covered by any insurance as he was a resident of Vietnam. The estimated cost for a Medivac back to Sydney is incredibly expensive.
And this is where JP and the family really need your help.

We are asking for your help with providing any type of financial donations towards this huge cost. All donations, no matter how big or small will help towards this very critical cause - so please spare whatever you can afford.

To his many friends, please dig deep and help bring our mate home.

For those of you who don’t know JP but are just generous kind human beings who can probably understand how it would feel if it was your mate in the same situation?

Whatever donations raised will ultimately go towards trying to bring JP home and the ongoing costs of his medical treatments and rehabilitation - it's going to be a long fight to get back to the JP we all know and love. Can we just say thank you in advance for caring about our mate, and taking the time to read his story, may Karma be with you and come back to you tenfold!
