Help Repatriate My Brother’s Body to Honduras

With deep sorrow, I find myself asking for help during one of the most difficult moments of my life. My brother Jairo Hernandez Mazariegos recently passed away in the United States, and as a family we wish to give him his final farewell in his homeland, Honduras, where he can rest alongside our loved ones.

The cost of the repatriation and all the necessary procedures is very high, approximately $28,000 USD, an amount we sadly cannot cover on our own.

That is why we humbly turn to the solidarity of all of you. Any contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to fulfilling my brother’s last wish and giving him the dignified rest he deserves.

Ayuda para la repatriación del cuerpo de mi hermano a Honduras

Con mucho dolor, hoy me toca pedir ayuda en uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida. Mi hermano [Jairo Hernandez Mazariegos falleció recientemente en Estados Unidos de America, y como familia deseamos darle el último adiós en su tierra natal, Honduras, donde descansará junto a nuestros seres queridos.

El costo de la repatriación y todos los trámites necesarios es muy alto, aproximadamente $28,000 USD, una cantidad que lamentablemente no podemos cubrir solos.

Por eso acudimos con humildad a la solidaridad de todos ustedes. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, nos acerca un paso más a poder cumplir este último deseo de mi hermano y darle el descanso digno que merece.
