Hello!

My name is Isaiah Avilla and I’m a singer, actor, dancer, choreographer and writer from Honolulu, Hawaii and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. I am raising money for a new play I wrote; “The Roommates” and it is making its world premiere debut at the Hollywood Fringe Festival this summer. All the funds raised in this GoFundMe will go towards the festival registration fee, renting a venue space with all its tech crew creations, props, set pieces, costumes and programs. I have been making it a goal for myself to get out of my comfort zone and start doing more things for myself and coming back to my old ideas and actually putting them into work.

This play has been a passion project to finish for the last two years and it finally is getting its time to shine but I cannot do it without your help. Anything would help get this play one step closer to debuting on stage at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

The story revolves around two roommates navigating their day to day lives together as well as dealing with their own personal journeys. This is a full length dramedy play that definitely has the fun laughs but also talks about big topics such as grief and STDs.
