Help Victor & Theresa Rebuild After Devastating Fire To Their Home

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I’m reaching out to share the heartbreaking story of my beloved father, Victor Hugo Andi Mendoza, and his fiancée, Theresa. Earlier today, November 20 2024, their apartment complex in San Antonio, Texas, was engulfed in a fire that destroyed the homes of seven families, including theirs. In an instant, they lost everything they owned—clothes, food, cherished belongings, and even their home—just days before Thanksgiving.

Thankfully, my father and Theresa were at work and nobody was in any of the apartments affected by the fire. However, unfortunately my father and Theresa tragically lost their pet cat to the fire.

Now, they are left with nothing and are struggling to find a place to stay. All of us family now live hundreds of miles away. The emotional toll of losing everything they own and their cat whom they loved very much is overwhelming, but they are holding onto hope. During this holiday season, we are hoping to come together to help make their Thanksgiving and upcoming holidays a little brighter.

The funds raised will go directly towards:

• Securing temporary housing and food

• Clothing and basic necessities

• Replacing lost household items and all of their furniture and appliances

• Allowing them to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays
