Our Journey to Parenthood: Asking for Your Support

For nearly a decade, Tyler and I have been dreaming of starting a family. It's a journey we began even before we got married, seeing a fertility specialist 10 years ago to understand the challenges we faced. For the past nine years of our marriage, we've been actively trying to conceive, holding onto hope with every step.

This is deeply personal for us, and if you know me, you know I tend to keep my private life just that… private. Opening up like this, and especially asking for help, is something I find incredibly difficult. However, we've reached a point where we truly need support to continue pursuing our dream of becoming parents.

The Road Ahead: IUI and Beyond

We've recently embarked on a new chapter in our fertility journey: Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and medicated cycles. This is a significant step forward for us, offering renewed hope.

Unfortunately, fertility treatments like IUI are not covered by our insurance. This means the financial burden for each cycle, including essential medications, specialist co-pays, necessary supplements, and other related expenses, falls entirely on us. The costs add up quickly, and while we've been managing for years, we're now at a point where we need a helping hand.
