“In times of darkness, there will always be a light.”
Unfortunately, November 3, 2024, will be to us as May 3rd forever will be to others. That is the day my family lost what we called our safe haven. Left without a home, we’ve done what we never thought to do, what we don’t pride ourselves in doing, that is accepting help. Words of encouragement have made it easier to buckle up our bootstraps and continue to provide a life for 5 children, in hopes they only remember the goodness in life. If you’re able and willing, we will accept that what you may have to offer to aid in restoring the life that has forever changed for us. Our smiles sneak past the tears and our hope keeps fighting back the sadness and despair.
They say you never know what you’re capable of, what you will do, or who you will have until you’ve been faced with certain trials in your life, and I’ve learned that to be more true than I could ever imagine.
We thank you and we love you, from the bottom of our hearts. From my tribe to yours, let peace reign.
