Support for Skadi's Hospital Expenses

Hello to everyone,

I am Jacqueline, and I have recently been living with my four-year-old daughter, Skadi, as a single mom for the past 3 months due to an unjust immigration system that temporarily separated our family because my husband's visa process was denied. He is now living overseas, and we live alone in the USA.

On December 28th 2024, Skadi was hospitalized for a rare bone infection (osteomyelitis) found nearby her hip leaving her unable to walk and admitted to a pediatric unit in Utah with a discharge date unknown due to the seriousness of her illness. Skadi will have to be transferred to an infectious disease specialist at Arizona Children's Hospital.

This is a situation where both her parents would be needed at her bedside, but the absence of her father is causing her more trauma and grief. We have been moving, and our living situation is unstable.

This will help raise money for Skadi's medical bills and ongoing medical expenses. Her health insurance got canceled because we couldn't return to live in California and had to move out of state to Arizona, leaving me without employment and unable to provide for myself or my daughter

For this reason, we are reaching out to our community to raise enough money to help get Skadi the quality of her life back and overall wellness.
