Hi, we're Ronni and Austin.

For years, we’ve been dreaming of growing our family. We've gone through testing, two failed IUIs, and two emotionally devastating IVF transfers — both ending in loss. One ended in miscarriage. The other in a chemical pregnancy. Through it all, we’ve clung to hope, filling our home with baby books, nursery items, and onesies we hoped would one day be worn.

But that day hasn’t come. And now… we have no embryos left.

We’ve paid for every step of this journey entirely out of pocket.

Military insurance doesn’t cover fertility treatments — not IVF, not monitoring, not medications. And yet we’ve pushed forward, doing everything we can financially, emotionally, and physically to make our dream of parenthood come true. Now, as we prepare to begin more fertility treatments from scratch, the costs feel heavier than ever.

IVF and fertility treatments are more than just one procedure. It’s:

Dozens of ultrasounds

Frequent bloodwork

Weeks of monitoring appointments

Expensive injectable medications

Surgical egg retrieval

Lab fees, anesthesia, embryo creation, storage, and transfer…

We have found a new fertility clinic that is local to us that we LOVE. We have decided to do our next fertility treatments locally rather than overseas because while it was cheaper, the flying back and forth just became too much. We are desperate to start treatments but know we can't jump all in without knowing how we will pay for everything. We are not jumping into another IVF cycle just yet, but we are doing some more testing to try and figure out if we can get some answers, which is very expensive out of pocket, as well as repeating an IUI.

We know times are hard for everyone. But even a $10 donation helps bring us one step closer — it pays for a lab draw, a medication dose, a monitoring scan. It keeps our hope alive.

➤ Typically 6–8 are needed during a single cycle

➤ That’s up to $1,800 just for monitoring

Bloodwork & Labs – $100–$200 each, done multiple times during stimulation and transfer prep

➤ Estimated total: $800–$1,200

Medications – Injectable fertility meds (stims, trigger, support)

➤ Estimated total: $3,000–$5,000

Egg Retrieval Procedure – Includes anesthesia, surgical fees, and lab
