Our Story

Hi everyone,

We’re Neil and Seana, and since the day we got married in October 2021, our greatest dream has been to become parents. From the very beginning, we imagined a home filled with laughter, love, and little ones — but what we thought would be a joyful journey has become the most challenging and faith-testing chapter of our lives.

A few months after we started trying to grow our family, Seana was diagnosed with a tumor on her pituitary gland that was preventing ovulation. In March of 2023, she had brain surgery to remove it, and we truly believed our biggest hurdle was finally behind us. But what followed was unimaginable heartbreak — three pregnancies and three devastating miscarriages, including one where we saw our baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Each loss broke us in ways we can’t describe, but we found comfort in knowing our babies are being held in heaven. Even through the grief, our faith has carried us, reminding us that God’s promises are still true and that He isn’t finished with our story.

When it became clear we needed more help, we began fertility treatments — starting with medicated cycles and an IUI, but both were unsuccessful. We then moved forward with IVF, pouring everything we had into it — physically, emotionally, and financially. Our first IVF cycle gave us so much hope: 12 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized, and 8 growing embryos. But just days later, all 8 stopped developing. We were left with nothing. It was one of the hardest moments of our journey so far.

Seana continued to trust her instincts and pushed for further testing. Eventually, she was diagnosed with stage II endometriosis. In August 2025, she underwent surgery to remove it, and thankfully everything was cleared. Since then, we’ve found a wonderful new IVF doctor who specializes in endometriosis, and for the first time in a long while, we feel hope again.

During this journey, we also learned that we are both carriers of a rare and deadly genetic condition called Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease. This means that any child we conceive naturally has a 25% chance of being born with this disease. IVF now gives us the opportunity to test our embryos before transfer — helping us pursue a healthy pregnancy and, God willing, the safe arrival of our miracle baby.

This journey has taken a tremendous toll on us — emotionally, spiritually, and financially. IVF is incredibly costly, and the financial burden of medications, procedures, and non-billable clinic fees is heavy. Asking for help is not something that comes easy for us, but we are humbly inviting our friends, family, and community to walk alongside us as we prepare for our next IVF cycle. Every donation, prayer, and share means the world to us and brings us one step closer to holding our healthy baby in our arms.

Through all the ups and downs, our faith has been what’s kept us grounded. We’ve seen God’s goodness in small, quiet ways, even in our most painful seasons. We know that He is still writing our story and that His timing is perfect.

We’ve chosen not to share detailed updates about our upcoming IVF cycle, as this part of the journey is deeply personal and can be difficult to navigate publicly when outcomes are painful. But we hold onto faith that when the time is right, we’ll be able to share the most joyful update of all — the news of a healthy pregnancy and the miracle we’ve been praying for.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for supporting us, and for believing with us. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more than we can ever express.

With love and gratitude,
Neil & Seana
