Sunday morning, January 12th, the Smith family home caught fire. Thankfully, the family (Mark, Tracy, Kensie, and Snoopy) was awake when the fire started. They were able to get out of the house safely and grab photo albums, Bibles, and some family mementos while the Fire Department was on their way. The fire was an electrical fire that took over the ceiling rafters of their double wide home. Although they were able to safely evacuate, their home did not make it. Unfortunately, the fire reignited on Monday morning, January 13th, which left the ceiling caved in on half to three-quarters of the home and it seems to be a total loss. They were able to salvage most of the clothes and food/kitchen appliances, but most of the furniture was lost. A friend has loaned them a camper to stay in for the time being, so they do have a place to stay. They have been incredibly blessed to have been surrounded by amazing friends and family who have been willing to help in so many different ways during this difficult time. They are hold firm in the belief that God is guiding them in this situation and that He is taking care of them. They are so thankful for all of the love that has been shown to their family and if you are willing and able, please donate or share the link to help them bring their lives back together.
