John Reil was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that began as a testicular tumor and has now spread to his lungs. His battle has been overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially. Our hospital bill has already reached ₱1.5 million, and we still need over ₱82,000 just to be discharged, before his much-needed chemotherapy can even continue. We have already given our land title as collateral, but it is still not enough. We feel like we’re running out of options—and time.

We have sought medical and financial assistance from every possible source, but everything has been exhausted. Yesterday, the hospital demanded an additional ₱82,000 for us to bring John Reil home. Without this payment, he will remain in the hospital, unable to start his next treatment.
