Please consider helping my friend Diana and her son, Jalen. On November 10th, 11-year-old Jalen was rushed to the PICU, where he has remained as doctors work tirelessly to treat a very aggressive and rare form of hemolytic anemia (severe warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia). His condition is so severe that he now requires daily blood transfusions just to keep him alive. Each day is a battle as he fights for his life, and despite the medical team’s relentless efforts, answers are still out of reach. Jalen is a bright, loving child who should be spending his days at home, in school, and simply being a kid—but instead he is enduring a fight no kid should ever have to face. We are asking for support to help his family manage the mounting medical expenses, time away from work, and the emotional toll of having a child in critical condition. Any contribution, no matter the size, brings hope, strength, and relief to Jalen and everyone who loves him.
