Yesterday morning, something no family should ever go through happened to my dear friend Estela Jaramillo. Her husband Fernando, and their two children Daniel and Jana, were all taken by ICE when Fernando was simply taking his kids to school.

Estela is completely heartbroken and devastated. She’s now left facing an impossible situation—trying to bring her family back together while keeping a roof over their heads.

The funds raised here will go directly toward legal fees to help with their immigration case and to help Estela cover rent and basic needs while she navigates this painful time.

No one should have to face this kind of fear and uncertainty alone. Any amount—no matter how small—will help Estela fight for her family and give her hope that they can be reunited soon.

Ayer por la mañana, algo que ninguna familia debería pasar le ocurrió a mi querida amiga Estela Jaramillo. Su esposo Fernando y sus dos hijos, Daniel y Jana, fueron detenidos por ICE cuando Fernando simplemente llevaba a sus hijos a la escuela.

Estela está destrozada, con el corazón roto y llena de angustia. Ahora enfrenta una situación muy difícil, tratando de reunir a su familia mientras lucha por mantener un techo y cubrir los gastos básicos.

Los fondos recaudados aquí se usarán directamente para gastos legales relacionados con su caso de inmigración y para ayudar a Estela a pagar la renta y los gastos esenciales durante este momento tan doloroso.
