Bring Hope to Cynthia and Her Daughters
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Cynthia, and I am a single mother to three wonderful daughters, aged 15, 14, and 7. Life has been incredibly tough since we lost my father to COVID-19 in 2021. Despite the pain, I’ve been pursuing my BA degree and trying to maintain a sense of stability for my girls. This past year, however, has tested my strength in ways I never imagined.
In January, my mother nearly passed away, and I became her primary caregiver overnight, balancing that with being a mother and a student. In July, I lost my job, and despite applying and interviewing for many positions, I haven’t secured new employment. To add to the weight, I recently learned I’ll need major surgery in January. We’re now at a point where the phone lines have been suspended, the car is on the verge of being repossessed, bills are overdue, and I have no money for rent or the holidays.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is knowing that I have always been someone who helps others, willing to give the shirt off my back. I have been there for people, offering support and kindness whenever I could. Facing the reality that not everyone shares that same heart and feeling judged for being in a vulnerable place has been deeply discouraging.
Despite everything, I am fighting to stay strong for my daughters—they deserve to see hope, not brokenness. Your support would mean more than just financial help; it would be a reminder that compassion and community are real and alive. The funds raised will go directly toward paying essential bills and giving my daughters a holiday they can smile about.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer. It’s hard to ask for help, but your kindness would bring a light into our lives during this challenging time.
