Bring Hope to Clint's Cancer Journey

I'm Clint, I live in Macon, GA, and I'm on to the next chapter of sharing my journey with you. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer on 8/13/24, following a flare-up of Ulcerative Colitis that led to a hospital visit on 7/5/24 with Pancolitis. I've completed one round of chemo and radiation, and although the results of the PET scan weren't ideal, as they found a spot on my brain, which means it’s metastatic Stage 4. I remain hopeful, and trust in the Lord to get me through this.

I'm not working at the moment, with the challenge of requiring accommodations to undergo treatment; I've filed for disability. My application has been fast tracked with the changes in my prognosis, and I am in the “exclusion period”. It’s a 6 month process to get fast tracked on SSDI, without being terminal, or actively dying. My application will be approved in May, and I will receive my first check in June with NO back pay. In the face of adversity, I'm inspired by the resilience of those around me.

As I navigate this journey, I'm grateful for your support. Your help will enable me to focus on conquering this cancer, knowing that my basic needs are met.

I have applied for every financial assistance program in my area, and relevant to my situations, but in the meantime, I'm struggling to make ends meet. My car payment, rent, insurance, phone, and utility bills have fallen behind. I've had to cut back on non-essentials, but I'm still facing significant challenges.
