Hello everyone,

My name is Dahlion Pinnock-Scott, founder of BlessHandsInc, a Connecticut-based organization dedicated to helping those in need, both at home and abroad. Today, I’m reaching out for your support on behalf of the resilient people of Bluefields, Westmoreland, Jamaica, who have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa.

What Happened

In late October 2025, Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, leaving widespread destruction in its path. The beautiful community of Bluefields was among the hardest hit. Many families lost their homes, crops, and access to clean water. Roofs were ripped away, roads were washed out, and countless residents are now struggling to rebuild their lives with very limited resources.

For a community that depends on fishing, farming, and tourism, the impact has been heartbreaking but the spirit of the people remains strong.

Our Mission

BlessHandsInc is organizing this fundraiser to bring immediate relief and longterm recovery support to the families of Bluefields. We’ve created a dedicated relief account to ensure transparency and that every donation goes directly toward the cause.

Your contributions will help us provide:

• Emergency food and clean water

• Roofing materials and building supplies

• Clothing, bedding, and hygiene kits

• School supplies and support for displaced children

• Assistance for elderly and vulnerable residents

How Funds Will Be Managed

All funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly into a dedicated BlessHandsInc relief account, used solely for Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts in Bluefields. Our team will coordinate with local community leaders to identify the families in greatest need and ensure that aid is distributed fairly and effectively.
