Help Alayna And The Nguyen Family Find Answers

If you are blessed enough to know the Nguyen family, then you know they would give their last cent to any family in need. They would open the doors of their home to those seeking shelter and safety. Many of us have watched them single handedly cook for a church even to then turn around that same night, pack up all the leftover food and hand it out in the streets of Pottstown to those in need. But now the time has come for us to help them.

 

Their eldest daughter Alayna has developed some serious medical issues over the last several months. She has battled endless viral and bacterial illnesses and now, more alarmingly, has progressed into severe neurological tremors and tics that leave her exhausted day in and day out.

 

As any parent would, they are scrambling for answers as to why this is happening to their child who previously had been perfectly heathy. They have received little to no help from the acute medical community during the countless ER visits where her parents have had to demand what would seem like routine testing and imaging. They are now faced to drive two hours back and forth to the Orlando area to seek further opinions from specialists and functional medicine Drs. Additionally, their insurance has failed to cover the majority of the treatments and tests Alayna’s has currently received.

 

Ali, Alayna’s Mom, is an online boutique owner who does not receive benefits for PTO or short term disability. They have already taken great financial risk for Ali to take time away from her business to drive Alayna back and forth to appointments as well as ER visits. This has also left her husband Jimmy to juggle working full time and taking care of their two additional children. As I am sure you can conclude, they are in need of a medical intervention which will likely require a large team of Drs as well as extensive testing and treatment and we all know that will come with a heavy price tag.

 

It is unfortunate that we live in a day and age where we must undertake enormous medical debt to seek answers in order to save our loved ones and for those who have been in the Nguyen’s shoes, you know those financial implications come with a heavy weight to bare.

 

We are starting this GoFundMe for Alayna, for her future, and for the Nguyen family to have peace and to be able to not only be present in saving their child but to be able to afford to live and still take care of their other children.

 

As many of us are parents, it’s hard to even imagine this happening to our children. As friends and family we can all sympathize with the sacrifices and financial burden this would cause. In addition to any financial support you can provide we also as that you pray hard and pray often for our dear friends. We pray God wraps his arms around Alayna and her family as they search for answers. That he brings forth an army of Drs to diagnose and treat Alayna quickly and swiftly.
