Hi, I’m Hannah, and I’m fundraising for my cousin, Erfaneh — a brave, loving young woman fighting a rare and aggressive metastatic cervical cancer.

Erfaneh was first diagnosed at the age of 16, only six months after losing her father to colon cancer. She endured major surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, and reached remission. When her cancer returned three years ago, the generosity of donors like you made it possible for her to receive immunotherapy, allowing her to miraculously enter remission again and giving her family hope during a time when losing both a father and daughter felt unbearably close.

Despite everything, Erfaneh became a pillar of strength for her family. She started her own small cooking and baking business and began teaching kids in her community — sharing joy while quietly battling her illness. Beyond her love for cooking, she also has a deep passion for painting. Painting has been her way of bringing light into the world and staying connected to the joy she wants others to feel.

Two months ago, her scans revealed severe metastatic spread. Her current chemotherapy is no longer working. Her doctors now recommend a new immunotherapy with cancer peptide vaccines that offers real hope — but the treatment costs far more than her family can afford on their own.

Erfaneh is the kindest soul, full of warmth, talent, and dreams of becoming a professional chef. She has fought so hard to stay alive and brings so much joy to her family and community.
