I’m Larrisa Palmer. Hurricane Melissa has devastated my hometown of Thompson Town, Trelawny, Jamaica. My family has suffered severe damage; roofs were blown off, homes torn apart, and farms, the main source of income for many, were flattened or washed away.

The destruction is widespread; not one person was untouched by this storm.
