Bring Henning's Fire Art Back to Burning Man

Hello fellow Burners! My name is Henning, and I’m an engineer with a passion for bringing wonder to the world – particularly through the art of fire. For the last few years, I’ve been building and perfecting a truly unique experience: a mobile ‘dancing fire’ table designed to create mesmerizing displays of flame, all on a custom-built cart that travels around the playa with me.

This isn’t just a fire table; it’s an interactive spectacle. As long as there are sound waves in the air – music, voices, even the wind of the playa – the flames dance and swirl in intricate patterns, illuminated by reactive LED lights. It’s a completely organic and captivating experience. Plus, it’s a fully functional s’more station and warming station, perfect for chilly desert nights!

I first brought the art piece to Burning Man in 2023, and presenting my table was a dream come true. It was a fantastic opportunity to share my passion for engineering and demonstrate a truly unique approach to visual art, bringing smiles and amazement to so many faces.

Unfortunately, due to some challenging financial circumstances, I can’t join my camp this year. I'm incredibly disappointed to miss out on the incredible energy of the playa and the chance to connect with the truly remarkable community.

I’m launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise $2500 to cover the costs of travel and accommodation, allowing me to once again share my creation and contribute to the incredible artistic energy of Burning Man. Every contribution, big or small, will directly fuel my return to the playa, where I can continue to push the boundaries of fire art and experience the magic of a fully interactive display.
