Hi, my name is Christopher “Tater” Cross, and I’m the Media Manager for Hebrew Camp Life — a grassroots movement born out of a simple but powerful truth: When young people experience their identity in the presence of community, Yeshua, and the beauty of the outdoors — lives are changed forever.

Hebrew Camp Life started with a camera, a calling, and a heart full of fire. As someone who grew up Southern Baptist and came into the Hebraic Roots movement in 2020, I saw firsthand the life-changing impact that youth camps like Camp Mashiach, Camp Yeshua, and Messiah Texas had on kids and teens across the country. But something was missing…

No one was telling their story. Sure, there would be small after camp meetings at personal fellowships but beyond that that's where it cut off.

No one was capturing the joy on a camper’s face when they worshipped under the stars. No one was documenting the moment a teen came out of the water, newly baptized, born again. No one was archiving these precious moments — or giving these camps the visibility and support they truly deserve.

That’s where Hebrew Camp Life comes in.

What We Do

We travel across the country to film, document, and promote Hebrew Roots camps, youth retreats, and fellowship events. Through high-quality media, we provide:

A platform for youth testimonies

Promotional videos for camps and events

Drone footage, photography, and interviews

A centralized website for parents to find camps near them

A growing shop for camp merch and media

And soon — our very own podcast and yearly camp event

We’re not just documenting camps — we’re building a legacy. Our 5-year plan includes:

Becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

Hiring a small but passionate team

Purchasing land to host our own Hebrew Camp Life retreat

Creating resources for youth missions, international outreach, and year-round events

Launching a full media and consulting service for camps who need support, and a podcast devoted to campers to stay connected year round.

Right now, we’re doing all of this out of pocket — from gas to gear to website fees. Our team volunteers time, equipment, and energy because we believe in this mission.
