This fundraiser will bring a team of American mental health professionals, specialized treatment equipment, and long-term telehealth support to a local hospital in Pakistan, ensuring patients can continue receiving follow-up care remotely after in-person treatment ends. In partnership with KBlend in Monroe, Michigan, the team will provide a three-week treatment program for more than 100 local patients while training Pakistani clinicians to continue delivering care long after the mission ends.
Depression rates are estimated to be as high as 60% in some areas of Pakistan, while stigma surrounding mental health remains a significant barrier to treatment. This initiative aims to expand access to innovative mental health care, including ongoing telehealth support, and create a lasting impact through local training and continued collaboration.
Current Contributions Needed:
- $25 provides one talk therapy session.
- $50 helps train local medical staff.
- $100 provides mental health treatment for one patient.
- $250 provides medications and supplies for multiple patients.
- Any Amount helps bring hope and mental health care to underserved communities.
