15 years ago we started Hazard County Skatepark. Giving kids a safe place to ride and socialize was our original goal. Very quickly we realized the business was much more than that. It was a home, a father a mother, a brother, and a friend that gave us all the opportunity  to grow and be positive productive citizens in our community. We grieved the loss of kids, their parents, and friends through our years in business, and will never forget the impact they made upon us. The park did not go out of business, we lost our building in a court battle. Unbeknownst the note we held on the building was illegally sold to us. We fought hard in the courts, but ultimately we lost. We lost the building, and without a $500,000 we weren't getting it back.  July will be 2 years since hazard left. I get text emails and calls everyday to bring hazard back. Our Hazard family was loyal and never gave up on us, snd thats why we need everyones help to make this happen again. This may be the only time in skatepark history, that this is even possible. We can't do this alone, we are asking for your support to bring Hazard back and get it going again. We want to bring back all the demos, the contests, the old man skate jams, the bbq out back, and watch the next generation of skateboarders come up. Along with all that Hazard has to offer we want to offer more to our community. We are committed to free skateboarding to all active and retired military members. We will offer free skateboarding lessons every Saturday. We were in the process of creating a program for at risk youth, we will continue this dream when we are back up and running. We want to be more than just a skatepark. 

Hazard was a staple of South Atlanta society, and we want to come back. We miss you all, and we miss our park. 

We need a building and help with the funding to get the park built as fast possible. We have thought long and hard about this, and we realized that we can't let Hazard go. It isn't always easy to ask for help, but we are coming to you our skateboard community and beyond, we are ready to go!


For those who donate the following will be offered:
$25-2 weeks of free skateboarding
$50-1 month of free skateboarding
$100-3 months of free skateboarding
$500-1 year of free skateboarding and a free Hazard Deck

Every little donation will make a difference, and every time you share the link we are getting one step closer. 

The funds will be used for the following:
Securing the building(deposits on rent and security)
Lumbar for the park
Skatelite for ramps
Metal for the ramps
Insurance
Security for the building
Building and Business permits

We will update all of you throughout the process, you will see exactly where we are and what we are doing as we are doing we are doing it.
