It is with the heaviest heart that I am asking for help for my best friend's family after their sudden loss. On October 10th, they tragically and suddenly lost Hassan Joseph Smith, a father, son, brother, and grandson. This is a devastating loss that no family should have to face.

Update: we have figured out getting the rest of his family and daughter home to Portland, so they can be all together through this difficult time.

As of now, All donated funds will go towards funeral costs for the family, as this is an unexpected loss and something not easy to process. Any additional donations will be for his family/ children. They are extremely thankful for any support and compassion during this time.
