Hai Nguyen has lived in the United States since he was a child. Oklahoma is the only home he has ever really known. He is a devoted husband, father, and hardworking member of his community.

Recently, during a routine immigration check-in, Hai was unexpectedly detained by immigration authorities because of a nearly 20-year-old marijuana charge from his youth that was later expunged from his record. Despite having built his life here for decades, Hai is now facing the possibility of deportation.

His sudden detention has left his wife Holly and their children navigating an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. The family is working with an attorney to pursue every available legal option to bring Hai home.
