I’m raising money for a close friend who is currently being unjustly detained by ICE.

Grey is an immigrant, a devoted wife, and a loving mother of two children. Since arriving in the United States, she has done everything the right way—she works hard, has followed all legal requirements, and has attended every single court hearing and appointment she has been asked to attend. Despite this, she was detained by ICE without proper cause during a routine appointment and is now been held in a detention center since October.

Right now, her family is terrified. She is afraid she could be deported at any moment if we are unable to act quickly.

We are trying to raise $8,000 to cover the retainer fee for an immigration lawyer so he can file a habeas corpus petition to challenge her detention and fight for her release. Without this legal action, her chances of coming home to her children grow slimmer every day.

She is a good person who contributes to her community, cares deeply for her family, and deserves due process and dignity. No family should be separated like this.
