My Story: Why I’m Building GrantSync
Hi, my name is Regina Collins, and I’m the founder & CEO of GrantSync — a platform designed to help school districts, educators, and afterschool programs make every dollar count.
I was born and raised in Vallejo, California, and for over 12 years, I’ve worked in the K–12 education system, including 8 years with the Vallejo City Unified School District. I’ve seen firsthand how expanded learning programs change lives — giving students safe spaces, creative outlets, and academic support when they need it most.
But I’ve also seen the stress that comes with trying to meet complex grant requirements, track spending manually, and make sure programs stay aligned. That’s why I created GrantSync — to give school staff and districts a smarter, simpler way to manage programs, stay compliant, and focus on what really matters: serving students.
I’ve invested my own funds to build this platform and I’m almost there — but I need your help to finish development. I’ve raised $3,000 and I’m working to raise $2,000 more to partner with a software lab that will bring GrantSync to life.
If you believe in education, equity, and empowering communities, I’d be so grateful for your support. Every donation helps bring this vision closer to reality — not just for me, but for the thousands of students and educators this tool will support.
Thank you for believing in this work and in me.
