Meet Grady — one of my best friend’s sweet 3-year-old dog who is fighting for his life.

Grady was rushed to the hospital with severe bacterial pneumonia and respiratory distress for the second time in a week on 12/4. Since being hospitalized he has faced multiple complications with his GI system and heart. Right now, he can only stay stable while on oxygen support with 24/7 monitoring. He is making progress, just slowly.

Grady is currently being treated for all possibilities alongside the pneumonia which include foreign object in the lungs from aspiration during coughing, lung worms, and Lepto to ensure he has the best possible outcome. He is receiving multiple antibiotics, steroids, lasiks, and breathing support.

This is an overwhelming financial burden, and his family is doing everything they can — but they can’t do it alone. Grady is only three, full of love, and has so much life left to live. They have already spent $15k to keep him alive. Grady has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but he's fighting and his family wants to fight too.
