Hi, my name is Tracy, and I am Gordon’s eldest daughter. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help in bringing my dad home to honor his final wish.

My dad has always been the heart of our family. After the loss of my brother in 2009, he was the one who held us together, always putting family first. In July 2023, he was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. Recently, we received the devastating news that the cancer has spread and that he is now terminal. While he has fought with incredible strength and courage, his battle is sadly coming to an end.

Dad’s greatest wish is to come home. Due to his medical needs, the only way this is possible is through specialized medical transport from South Australia to Queensland, at a cost of approximately $20,000. Bringing him home would allow me to help care for him, spend the precious time we have left together, and give my mum—who has not left his side throughout his hospitalization—the rest and support she so deeply deserves.
