Bring Ginger over from Greece

I went to Greece recently Ginger was with us everyday
We fed him and he slept on a chair near our room and would sit outside our door and then share breakfast with us and chill by the pool.
He was scared of the other cats and would let them steal his food.
When we were leaving I was gutted that he wasnt around so I could say goodbye. I left food out all over around the hotel but when I got home I worried how he would cope as the hotel was closing the week after.
There is a feeding station nearby that some feeders go to but I worried Ginger would be bullied by the other cats and not get much food.
Ella was bossy and wouldn't let other cats take her food and I found a lovely lady called Anastasia Kalopetri who took Ella to be spayed and has now got Ella's kittens safe.
She has been going back and forth from the place she lives to Faliraki to try and find Ginger and take him for neutering for me too but the bugger wasn't around when she was.
Then I spoke with another lady Lorna Shea who has been on the island many years and arranges for cats and dogs to fly to new homes.
I decided to bring Ginger over to the UK but there are no flights until April so Lorna said she would foster him until he can come and we can cover boarding for each day.
Today Anastasia managed to find Ginger and got him in a carrier and then Lorna met her and collected him.
On Monday he will go to the vet to get his passport started and be castrated and chipped and flead and wormed.
He needs rabies vaccination and basic vaccs too.
I heard some horror stories that many of the street cats die in the winter months when the tourists have gone home and that in many places the hotels poison the cats to bring the numbers down before the season starts again
I couldn't leave him to that fate.
So I am going to do a fundraiser and if anybody wants to help towards the cost of getting Ginger safe here with me you can donate to that or send to Little Tinkers Bank account.
A few people have already said to me they would help if I decided to bring him over so here we go!!!!
Both these fantastic ladies have been so helpful and I appreciate all they have done to help me to help Ella and Ginger black ‍⬛️ x
