Update 9.8.2025!!

We are overjoyed to share that Gianna is home — and thriving! Thanks to all of your generous contributions and support, she is now surrounded by family, enjoying nourishing meals, and continuing her daily radiation treatments. She is able to stand up assisted and is working to get her strength and coordination back to walk again. One item that we are working on funding is a "gait trainer." This will provide body weight support, stability and balance for her while she practices walking and gets stronger!

Help Support Gianna Coming Home!

Thanks so much for the support that everyone has provided so far. As a friend who is far away on the east coast and can't be there, I wanted a way to help…I am so thankful for each and every one of you.

Our beloved Gianna has been bravely fighting a high grade glioma since her diagnosis in 2021. This past month has been incredibly hard—her tumor grew quickly in September, and endured two major brain surgeries and has remained in hospital care for over a month.

She’s made incredible gains over the past week and wants to be home.

Thanks to the incredible support of her care team, Gianna was able to spend Labor Day weekend at home with her family. The difference in the speed of her recovery was remarkable.

It reminds us all how powerful home can be.

We want Gianna's autonomy and quality of life to be as great as possible as she continues to fight and recover. We know medical care and equipment needed to make that happen are not always covered by insurance.

We anticipate she may need:

• Specialized intensive rehabilitation therapy

Some skilled nursing support beyond what is covered additional

• Transportation to radiation treatments until her specialized vest arrives (Her specializes vest has already been ordered and purchased by angels helping Gianna)

• Home medical equipment not covered by insurance (specialized wheelchair until she is able to walk on her own)
