Galu, was a proud U.S. Veteran, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, a friend to many, and a man of faith. Born and raised in American Samoa, he was deeply proud of his culture and proud of being a Leone High School alumnus, a school and community that shaped who he was,

He was known as many things in his community, a passionate mentor who taught discipleship, teamwork, and faith. He lived a life of service to his country, his community, and most importantly, his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Heather and son Geremy, who were is greatest joy.

Our family is heartbroken by his sudden passing in American Samoa. We are raising funds to bring him home to the United States so he can be laid to rest in Texas, surrounded by loved ones and to help Heather and son through this difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will help ease the financial burden and honor a man who gave so much of himself to others.
