For as long as I can remember, Gail Walter (my aunt) has lovingly and sacrificially helped people in their most vulnerable and dire moments in life. Whether it has been people who have come into the Emergency Department where she was a doctor, friends who were in crisis, family, and those in Uganda who she has been in ministry to for the past 24 years. Since her time in Uganda full time, she has poured herself out for others and for the sake of Christ, often times putting her own needs on the back burner.
Her health has now taken a devastating turn for the worst and it is now time for us to help her. We are not 100% for certain of what is going on in her body, but we do know that it is not good and that she needs a flight home...urgently. We are working on getting her a flight back to the States, but we need your help to secure the funds to do this and to help cover transportation and medical costs while she is here.
Thank you for whatever you can give in helping this missionary to get the life saving medical care that she so desperately needs that Ugandan doctors cannot provide. You are a blessing and an answer to prayer.
Whatever funds are raised will go towards her flight, medical costs, and continuing the care of the widows and orphans that she has been caring for in Uganda in her absence.
