Bring Gage Home: Honoring a Pirate’s Legacy
Donation protected
Hello, we are Ian Anderson, Josh Wells, Mackenzie Herrington (Smith) and a collaboration of other lifelong friends of Gage Barth, and we’re reaching out to ask for your support during this heartbreaking time. Gage, our dear friend, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and kindness. We’ve started this GoFundMe to help his family, especially his mother, Brandi, cover the costs of bringing him and his belongings home from Mexico to Phoenix, Arizona, and giving him the farewell he deserves.
Gage was the liveliest, craziest kid in any room—a true free spirit who lived life to the fullest. That energy defined him throughout his life. If you're here, you probably met Gage, likely with his shirt off and probably saw him throw a shaka once or twice. Gage was a proud Air Force veteran who touched countless lives. A self-proclaimed pirate and a modern-day Spicoli, he brought joy and laughter to everyone he met, never allowing a dull moment.
Gage’s heart belonged to Arizona, California, and Mexico. He was drawn to the ocean, fishing/surfing and the vibrant culture of Mexico, which he loved deeply. Above all, he cherished his family—especially his mom, Brandi, and his grandparents—who meant the world to him. Now, Brandi faces the daunting task of navigating the financial and logistical challenges of bringing Gage home and arranging his funeral.
We’re raising funds to cover the costs of transporting Gage’s body from Mexico to Phoenix and holding a funeral to honor his incredible life. These funds will help with international transport, documentation, and a dignified service to celebrate the man who meant so much to so many. Every contribution, no matter the size, will ease the burden on Gage’s family and help them focus on grieving and remembering his beautiful soul. 100% goes directly to Gage's mom.
Thank you for helping us bring Gage home and giving his family the support they need during this difficult time. Please share this campaign to spread the word about our beloved friend, the pirate who lived life with unmatched passion.
As Gage would say - vivir la vida al limite!
