Hello, my name is Jennifer Mendoza and I’m starting a GoFundMe to help raise funds for my father Francisco who on Friday October 17th in Round Lake was detained by ICE while working along with his brother Adrian. Brayan his son also created a GoFundMe that will be also posted on my page.

Right now we know they’re both being held at the Broadview detention . We are blindsided on what’s going to happen next . Our family is heartbroken and scared, but we’re staying hopeful and doing everything we can to bring them both back home with their families.

My father has been living in this country for more than 20 years now and has worked so hard to be able to provide for his family. He is not a criminal, he is not a danger or threat to this country, he has always obeyed the laws of this country. It frustrates me to see someone who has been nothing but an amazing father, husband, brother and friend be taken away from us like this .

We are currently raising funds to help cover the cost of an immigration lawyer who can represent him and fight for his release. Any amount you can contribute will make a real difference and bring us one step closer to reuniting our family. Even if you can’t donate, please keep my father in your prayers and share this with others who might be able to help.
