Bring Finn Home - Donate for His Treatment
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Heather; thank you for taking the time to read my story. About a month ago, my family and I took in a pair of kittens, Finn and Jake. The kittens are almost four months old and are very bonded with one another! They love to eat, sleep, play, and snuggle.
Recently, Finn was not acting like his normal playful self and my family and I were getting worried. His symptoms got worse and we took him to the nearest animal hospital for them to diagnose him with a bladder blockage and bladder stones. This is extremely rare for a kitten of his age with no known underlying health issues.
After the initial surgery, Finn had a complication with his catheter, resulting in an additional surgery. While Finn seemed to be healing well in the hospital, he unfortunately formed another blockage hours after removal of his catheter, resulting in the need for another surgery. Unfortunately, the results of this surgery lasted less than a day before he needed another surgery once again, as well as some testing to determine if he has a potential liver or kidney condition. The hospital believes it may be some form of chronic blockage issue, resulting in the need for more surgery to fix the problem once and for all.
As you can imagine, these expenses add up very quickly and we cannot afford to continue getting Finn the hospital treatment that he needs to survive. All of the proceeds for this fundraiser will go directly to Finn’s hospital bills, including surgery, medications, and 24-hour medical care. Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated, and if you can’t contribute at this time, sharing this with your community would mean the world to us. Jake misses his brother terribly and we hope to get him home from the hospital soon. Thank you!
