At Nordik K9, we run a dedicated search and rescue sport club focused on helping teach our clients and the public about scent work, tracking, and detection. We believe in the incredible abilities of dogs, not just for detecting lost pets, but also for locating missing individuals or items. Thermal imaging would take our team to the next level.

To enhance our efforts, we are raising funds to acquire a thermal imaging device that will allow us to locate lost pets and assist our community more effectively, even in challenging conditions. This advanced technology will enable us to quickly identify heat signatures, making it easier to find animals and/or humans that are hiding or in distress.

At this time, our team is currently assisting in helping find Moose a missing 10 month old pup from Oro-Medonte. Although we’ve had great efforts, we need more. Our next step in helping bring Moose home to his family is thermal imaging devices which is why we have started this initiative and look forward to continuing to help our community.
