Bring Evelia Home: Support Her Legal Fight

Evelia is a devoted mother and beloved member of our community who was recently detained by ICE in Austin, Texas. Her daughter, a U.S. citizen, is facing severe psychological challenges and desperately needs her mom back home.

Evelia has lived and worked peacefully in the U.S. for 20 years. She has no criminal record. She has always prioritized her children’s education, health, and future. Now, with Evelia in ICE custody, her family is doing everything they can to secure legal representation and fight for her release—but the financial burden is overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to cover:

• Immigration attorney’s fees

• Bond and court filing expenses

• Mental health documentation for her daughter’s case

• Temporary family support during this crisis

Evelia’s daughter is struggling to sleep, eat, or attend school. Her mental health providers have stressed how critical it is for her to be reunited with her mother. Every day apart is a day of trauma for this young girl.
