UPDATE 8/17/2022 Yesterday we received the call we were not prepared for. Esperanza’s body has been located. Hi everyone, As a lot of you may already know my sister Esperanza Salcedo has been missing. She has not been seen or heard from since July 15th, 2021. Her last known whereabouts are in Rosarito, Baja California. We have filed multiple missing persons reports with LAPD, FBI, and the Rosarito Police Department where she went missing. We have given all known information to the authorities in Rosarito but they do not take much interest in missing persons cases. We have much reason to believe she is in a lot of danger. Without much help from authorities my family has gotten together and agreed to hire a Private Investigator to speed up the process in finding her and bringing her home. 

The PI will help in many ways. They are retired policemen and FBI agents and will do whatever they can to locate her. They will help us set up a tip line, get media attention, develop a missing persons file along with photo distribution in store fronts, on light poles, etc. They have investigators that work on both sides of the border. 

With the amount of searching they will be doing along with going back and forth from the US to Mexico their services will be costly. We are setting up this fundraiser in hopes to raise money to help fund a full and thorough investigation into the disappearance of my sister. Our family has tried anything and everything possible to try to find her, but we need the extra help. Her kids and grandkids need her home. We are all praying for the safest return of my sister. 

Our family is going through one of the hardest times we've ever endured and would appreciate any help in finding Esperanza.
