Help Bring Erik Téllez Home to His Family
On December 11th, our world changed. My uncle, Erik Téllez, was unexpectedly detained in North Portland by ICE. In a matter of seconds, a loving husband, father, and provider was taken away — leaving his wife and three children heartbroken, scared, and without the support they depend on every day.
What makes this even more painful is that Erik’s two older children, 17 and 15 years old, were with him when it happened. They witnessed everything. This moment has been deeply traumatizing for them — something no child should ever have to see. His youngest baby, is only six months old, she’s still waiting for her dad to come home. She doesn’t understand what’s happening, but she feels the absence of the father who adores her.
Erik is the one who provided for his entire family. Without him, his wife and kids are now struggling to cover rent, bills, food, and basic needs while trying to cope emotionally with this sudden crisis.
We are creating this GoFundMe to raise $40,000 to help cover:
• Attorney fees
• Bond fees
• Urgent family expenses (rent, food, utilities, baby essentials)
