I'm Phoenix Bell, the writer and producer of Enigma: A Family Bound By Secrets, directed by Herman Gordon Jr.
The goal is to film this stage play and upload it on UnheardTV. In order to do this, it'll take $15,000 to secure the venue, pay the cast and production crew, create the stage setting, playbills, and last but not least, the camera crew that will need a 3-camera angle.
What is Enigma about?
Enigma: A Family Bound By Secrets is about four sisters who are challenged by a sudden circumstance that brings back memories both good and bad. The caveat is these sisters are forced to face the enigmatic truths they've kept hidden from each other for years. As the past resurfaces, tensions rise, old wounds reopen, and long-buried secrets threaten to unravel their bond. Forced to confront their shared history, the sisters must decide the fate of their future.
Why is it important to share Enigma with the community?
Enigma: A Family Bound by Secrets is a powerful stage play that benefits the community in several ways:
Encourages Open Conversations – By tackling themes of family secrets, reconciliation, and mental health, and prompts audiences to reflect on their own relationships and start meaningful discussions.
Promotes Healing and Understanding – Many people struggle with unresolved family conflicts. Seeing these issues unfold on stage can offer a sense of connection and even inspire healing in their own lives.
What makes Enigma impactful?
Here’s what makes it truly powerful:
Relatable Themes – Almost everyone has experienced family struggles, hidden truths, or the weight of unspoken words. The play resonates deeply with audiences because it reflects real-life dynamics.
Emotional Depth – By weaving together moments of love, pain, betrayal, and redemption, Enigma takes audiences on a deeply emotional journey, leaving them moved and introspective.
Strong Character Development – The four sisters serve as mirrors to different aspects of human nature, showing how past traumas shape personalities and decisions. Their growth throughout the story makes the narrative even more
$350 has already been raised.
