Our dear mother, sister, aunt, and granny, Ellen Flowers, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on March 26th, 2025, at her home in Montgomery, Alabama, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. She was the heart of every gathering and a master in the kitchen, always bringing joy to those around her. Ellen also dedicated 45 years of her life as a nurse, serving the communities of Michigan and Florida. While studying to become a nurse, she was also raising five children, a testament to her strength and unwavering love. She retired at 80, though it was unwillingly, as she still had a strong desire to help everyone who needed it. Ellen will be deeply missed.

We are working to bring her back to her hometown of Saginaw, Michigan, for a proper burial. Although she had life insurance, only one policy covers natural death, which will help with the cost of transporting her.
