ICE took Eliezer Bernal Mendiola yesterday. His family, Eduardo Bernal (13 years old), his daughter, Samara Bernal (7 years old), and his wife, Elia, miss him. He has lived here for over a decade, caring for gardens and landscaping.

Eliezer's mastery of fine gardening, preventive maintenance, and intelligent irrigation systems is genius. He's always paying attention, always coming up with solutions.

Developing these skills and knowledge requires years of hard work and dedication.

The recent ICE raids have resulted in the unnecessary destruction of productive lives and have created a sense of fear and uncertainty in our community. Eliezar's family is left alone and afraid for him, with less income and the threat of ICE to do more invasive damage to them and their neighborhood.
