On 27th December 2019, we lost my dad, Eddie Lumawig.

This page has been set up to help with the repatriation of my dad's remains from California, USA to the Philippines. Any funds we raise will go towards getting our dad's remains home and giving him the memorial service that he deserves. We plan to run this page for only a short time (until 9th January) so that a payment can be made directly to the funeral services in California, in order for them to start the process of getting my dad home. 

Our dad was happy, healthy and ready to finally retire in 2020. He was always looking forward to that day when he can finally reunite with his wife and live a simple and laid-back life in the Philippines. 

Our dad was the most hard-working and generous person I knew. All his life, he has provided not just for our family but also to the communities in both the USA and the Philippines. Everyone knew they can always rely on him.

He was always one to leave a good impression on people,  always ready to listen with compassion, always ready to help.

He was a  very kind soul, always ready to share his wisdom, give advice or tell a funny joke. He lived to see his wife, children, and grandchildren happy.  There wasn't anything in the world that he wouldn't do for us. 

He will forever live on in our hearts.
